The power of Christian radio.

A new study shows Christian Adult Contemporary (AC) radio listeners have significant spending power and are loyal radio listeners. The study by FMR Associates found Christian AC listeners are more likely to have higher household incomes and spend more on cars, dining, electronics, and healthcare compared to other radio listeners. They also listen to the radio more than other demographics, spending 33% more time tuned in than listeners of other formats. This demographic is more likely to vote, be married, and have children. This comes as Christian radio expands, with educational stations, many affiliated with religious groups, increasing by 101 in the last year.
