Take that, trolls.

The US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has rejected the claims of a company called Personal Audio, LLC that a patent it holds is integral to podcasting. (Personal Audio has already tried to sue several parties for infringement of that patent.) It turns out that the patent was invalidated by the Patent Office a couple of years ago after a challenge by the Electronic Frontier Foundation—but not before Personal Audio had won a $1.3 million jury award against CBS, and an undisclosed amount in a settlement with podcaster Adam Corolla.
