Revenue dreams.

Despite an overall decline in ad revenue for the top radio stations in the US (down 5% from 2022), Washington D.C.’s WTOP topped the charts for the 13th time in 14 years with $66.3 million. News/Talk and Music formats were dominant with stations spread across New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington D.C., and Boston. Interestingly, AM stations might be underrepresented on the list due to how simulcasts are counted. BIA will release separate rankings for Top Radio Owners and Spanish Language stations soon.
