New BFoA program eases young talent entry.

The Broadcasters Foundation of America (BFoA) is extending its outreach to young radio talent through a distinctive golf networking event named Sips & Tips. Scheduled alongside the Foundation’s Celebrity Golf Tournament & Fundraiser on September 11, the event will grant young professionals exclusive access to high-ranking broadcast industry managers and executives. Participants will receive a two-hour golf lesson from a professional golfer and attend an invitation-only reception and dinner at the Greenwich Country Club in Connecticut. This initiative follows the successful Media Mixer held in July, facilitating networking between junior professionals and prominent on-air personalities and executives at iHeartMedia’s NYC headquarters. Timothy McCarthy, President of BFoA, emphasizes the importance of connecting young professionals with industry leaders to foster successful broadcasting careers and promote the Foundation’s charitable mission.
