NABOB on board with LRFA.

The National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters has come out in support of the Local Radio Freedom Act, the nonbinding resolution that opposes “any new performance fee, tax, royalty or other charge” on local broadcast radio stations. The organization sent a letter to House and Senate leadership urging them to support cosponsorship of the measure, noting that minority broadcasters were hit especially hard during the pandemic because Black communities and businesses were disproportionately affected.
