NAB weighs in on ownership rules revision.

The National Association of Broadcasters has filed a reply brief at the Supreme Court supporting the FCC’s appeal of the action by the Third Circuit Court Of Appeals vacating and remanding the revised FCC local media ownership rules. Essentially, the NAB once again asserts that the lower court should have given deference to the FCC’s Congressionally-mandated competition analysis over consideration of the effects on minority and female ownership (which, in the opinion of the NAB, is already a high priority at the Commission).
