NAB sues over “arbitrary and capricious” FCC order.

The National Association of Broadcasters has filed suit in the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit against the FCC for its order allowing unlicensed and uncoordinated use of the 6 GHz band—which band is used for some sports broadcasts and “back-hauls” (transmitting audio and video, like news stories from the field)—asserting that the FCC decision “unlawfully fails to protect the myriad existing licensed users in the band from potential interference arising from such unlicensed use.”
