NAB campaign promotes AM radio

The National Association of Broadcasters has a new “Depend on AM Radio” campaign that focuses on AM’s role in “delivering news, community engagement, entertainment, and vital public safety information.” NAB is taking the fight to the airwaves, in the wake of Ford’s plans to drop AM in all vehicles and the elimination of the band from most electric vehicles. The NAB initiative includes a website which urges the public to tell members of Congress “why you want to keep AM radio in cars.” For more information, visit
