A $3000 fine is in the offing against the school district of Bay City, MI for filing a license renewal four months late for high school student station WCHW-FM. The Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana will be $1500 poorer if the FCC has its way; a license renewal application for its KWRJ-LP/Elton, LA was four months late, with no explanation. The licensee of a translator in Lakeland, FL, Cornerstone Broadcasting Corp., and Sucremedia, owner of WBVL-LP/Kissimmee, FL received Notices of Violation for operating with excessive power. Carroll University is facing a possible $1500 fine for a late license renewal application for student station WCCX/Waukesha, WI. A $1125 fine might go to Heritage Media of Kentucky, Inc. for a late license renewal application for its translator in Leitchfield, KY. And Radio One Licenses, LLC agreed to a Consent Decrees over violations of online public file political rules at WHHL/Hazelwood, MO.
