The former RAB EVP joined the organization in 1994, where he ended up heading up the Services Division. Mr. Mahone died April 30 after a battle with pancreatic cancer and Parkinson’s disease. A dyed-in-the-wool radio guy, Mike began his career on the air in his hometown of Columbus, OH; he moved into sales and rose through the ranks to become a GM, all in neighboring Ohio markets, until being tapped for the RAB training division. Mike was a good friend and a great broadcaster. He will be missed.
