IBA Versus Nielsen.

As previously reported in these pages, Nielsen Audio has put a set of restrictions on its survey data, limiting access to a specific select few. Now, the Independent Broadcasters Association is pushing back on the new policy, citing Nielsen’s “enormous fees” and “outdated” methodology. The statement goes on to say, “The time has come for a disruptor product to emerge.” See the full IBA statement, and Nielsen’s response, later in this issue.
