Groundbreaking artificial intelligence company OpenAI last week had announced that Sam Altman was restored as OpenAI’s chief executive, successfully undoing his removal by OpenAI’s board a couple of weeks ago after a campaign led by his supporters, staff and investors. Along with Sam, Greg Brockman is also back as President of OpenAI. Why are we following this? Because the majority of artificial intelligence applications are based on OpenAI’s ChatGPT engine, including most radio applications. As of now, it’s not too much of a stretch to say that, as goes OpenAI, so goes the future of AI itself.
