FCC setback.

The Commission did not get what it wanted from the Third Circuit Court of Appeals; the court rejected the agency’s bid to have the full court hear its appeal of the three-judge panel ruling rejecting the 2017 broadcast ownership rule changes that would have made it easier for media cross-ownership and duopolies. Petitions of support by the NAB and broadcast groups were also dismissed. The only option at this point is to try to get the matter before the US Supreme Court.
