The Northwest Rock ‘N Roll Preservation Society, a non-profit organization running an Adult Standards radio station in Olympia, Washington, has been fined $20,000 by the FCC for unauthorized radio operation. The Commission found that the Society operated its FM translator, K266BM, without proper authorization between December 4, 2019, and June 13, 2020. The Society also made false certifications in an earlier application to the FCC.
