The Commission’s Media Bureau has formally reinstated the more liberal ownership rules that were in effect until they were put on hold pending a Supreme Court decision in the matter brought by the Prometheus Project last year. Because the changes had been affirmed by the High Court, the Bureau is not putting them out for public comment; they will take effect as soon as they are published in the Federal Register.
