Commission says “no-no” to broadcasting on translator while primary station is down.

It will cost Centro Cristiano de Vida Eterna $9000 for operating its translator while its main station, WRLL/Chicago, was off the air. There were other alleged infractions as well not completing the translator construction within the allocated window, not getting the translator on the air within the allocated time, not complying with station identification rules but the Commission landed on the licensee for the aforesaid infraction instead.
