After the FCC chairman appeared before the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation, members of that committee sent a letter to him criticizing his “lack of full transparency” at the hearing and his “refusal to answer straightforward questions about how you view the media and whether you will uphold the First Amendment rights of journalists and media outlets.” The letter went on to ask six questions they felt weren’t adequately answered by the chairman during the hearing.
