According to U.S. Local Advertising Forecast 2021 from BIA Advisory Services, total domestic local advertising revenue across all media next year will reach $137.5 billion—an upward revision of 2.5% from the original post-COVID estimate. It seems that businesses have been adapting and rebounding better and more quickly than originally anticipated, and, according to the report, “As the expected presence of vaccines will help with the continuing rebound in the economy, we expected this increase will occur throughout 2021, even without the presence of significant political advertising.”
