Another tricky election dilemma.

Al Travis, who does afternoons on KTOE/Mankato, MN, has been taken off the air for his cozy relationship – heretofore undisclosed, apparently – with representative Jim Hagedorn (R-MN), who is running for reelection in the current cycle. It turns out that Travis runs an agency called Innovative Marketing Techniques, and has been retained by the Hagedorn people to do advertising since 2017. That’s all well and good, but the dustup is really about the fact that Travis routinely interviews representative Hagedorn on his show, without ever disclosing his relationship with the politician. Travis has claimed that his actions were completely legal and aboveboard, and has accused local media of being out to |lynch| him.
