The FCC is looking into the case of the KTOE/Mankato, MN afternoon announcer’s consulting of the campaign of US representative Jim Hagedorn and the station’s failure to disclose that relationship. The Minnesota Reformer ran a story late last year about the fact that Mr. Travis had received over $850,000 in consulting fees from the Hagedorn campaign since 2017, during which time he conducted several softball interviews with the candidate on his radio program.
