What’s a radio guy to do?

We have established that the iPhone is Public Enemy Number One in the world of radio, but Google isn’t helping with the recent announcement that their new phone—the “Pixel 2″—follows Apple’s lead in eliminating the analog headphone jack. That screws us up in a couple of ways: Besides making it more difficult to use the phone for remotes and play-by-play broadcasts, it sends a pretty clear signal that FM reception is off the table (usually the headphone cord acts as the FM antenna).
