Translator location rule stands.

The Prometheus Radio Project had filed a Petition for Reconsideration of the FM transmitter rule change having to do with defining where a translator for an AM station could be located. The rule change allows cross-service translators more leeway in the choice of locations, doing away with strict requirements about the contour of the translator relative to the coverage area of the station. Prometheus filed an ex parte objection on a technicality, contending that the change was made without adequate notice and opportunity to comment. The Commission rejected the Prometheus claim.
