… But That Was Just Too Close

Judging from the ratings for “Dish Nation,” it would seem that radio has scored a rare crossover hit with the latest talk show from Fox, featuring wacky morning radio people kicking around pop-culture topics. The Nielsen national ratings give the program and 18 percent bump in its first four weeks; during the week of October 1, the show managed 1.8 million viewers. According to Fox Television, “Dish” is the third-youngest-skewing program (right behind “TMZ”) out of all shows in first-run national syndication.
