One more member of the House and another member from the Senate make a total of 221 cosponsors in the House and 26 in the Senate for the Local Radio Freedom Act, which reads, “Congress shall not impose any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge relating to the public performance of sound recordings on a local radio station for broadcasting sound recordings over the air, or on any business for the public performance of sound recordings on a local radio station broadcast over the air.” The new cosponsors are Representative Warren Davidson (R-OH) and Senator Todd Young (R-IN).
