Survey says: US media advertising sales grow slightly, radio declines.

Researcher Magna predicts that media advertising sales in America will grow by 3.7% this year, the decline from 4.7% growth last year. For radio, in 2016, our industry dropped 2.9%; Magna projects that we will be off another 3.5% this year. The researcher says, “Print advertising and radio advertising will continue to struggle in 2017 due to declining audience (for print) and weakening pricing power (for both).”
