Survey says: U.S. ad revenues way up, radio down a bit.

warc-logoAccording to the British research firm WARC, the advertising market in the United States is likely to grow at its fastest rate since 2010, up nearly 6%, to a record high of $178 billion. That’s an upward revision from their earlier forecast estimating an increase of only 4.9%. The big winners will be digital (duh), up 13.7%, and television, up 6.6%. The big losers include newspapers (-12.7%), and magazines (-12.4%). Radio is down slightly (-2.8%).
