Survey says: smart speakers take over the world.

According to a new study by Edison Research for National Public Radio, smart speaker ownership in the United States is now standing at 18%—more than 43 million people 18+. Demographically, women lead the way, composing 54% of total ownership: and adults 45-54 outpace other age cells, with 24% of that group owning the device. The percentage of smart speaker owners who use them to access AM/FM radio ranges from 47% among “Early Mainstream” users (those who have owned a smart speaker for less than a year) to 41% among “First Adopters” (those who have owned them for more than a year).
