Survey says: podcasting off the leash in 2017.

A new study from Bridge Ratings points the way to a “breakout year” for podcasting. The study notes that this year’s Consumer Electronics Show featured technology that improves ease-of-use, search capabilities, and audience metrics; focus groups conducted by Bridge during the show indicate that search capabilities alone led to significant increases in podcasting interest. According to Bridge Ratings President Dave Van Dyke, “We anticipate voice -controlled audio search and playback to be a significant contributor to the growth of podcasting this year.”
