Survey says: domestic ad revenues to hit north of $174 billion by 2021.

According to the midyear update to its U.S. Mobile Advertising Forecast 2017, BIA/Kelsey is projecting steady growth in advertising revenues over the next five years, with a compound annual growth rate of 3.8%. For this year, the survey has to go six deep include radio: number one is direct mail at $37.1 billion (25% share); then comes local television ($20.9 billion—14% share); online/interactive ($18.6 billion—11%); newspapers ($16 billion—11%); mobile ($16 billion—11%); and local radio ($15.6 billion—10%).
