Streamer Introduces Skip Feature

In an attempt to behave more like the popular online-only music streaming services, Abacast is introducing a song-skipping feature for radio webcasts. The way it works, a listener has the option of skipping a song that is currently being played, for which another song is substituted and will be played in its entirety. The feature is being beta-tested at WMEE in Ft. Wayne, IN, and initial reports are that people tend to listen longer when the skip feature is enabled.
