Station trading hits 34-year low.

According to the latest report from SNL Kagan, in the second quarter of this year, radio station transaction volume was only $47.8 million, the lowest since 1982. In fact, the majority of the transactions took place in a space that didn’t even exist back in the day: FM translators composed nearly 60% in terms of number of transactions and nearly 20% in volume—186 of them were sold for $9.1 million.
