Scripps puts out “For Sale” sign.

The company announced yesterday that all 34 of its radio stations are for sale, part of a restructuring and cost-reduction move by which the company hopes to save about $30 million annually. Citing “maintaining high-quality journalism as our central focus,” company President/CEO Adam Symson said in a statement, “This plan is consistent with our goal to create both short-term and long-term value by improving margins and cash flow in our local media business and supporting the growth of our national businesses.”
