RMLC scores GMR concession.

The Radio Music License Committee has announced that Global Music Rights—the music licensing organization owned by Irving Azoff—will offer license extensions through March 31, 2018 to all stations. The extensions will be at the same terms, conditions and prices that stations are paying now. According to RMLC chief Bill Velez, this does not preclude individual stations from negotiating directly with GMR; if a station chooses to do so and is denied an extension, contact Velez.
