Reconsideration denied.

A Petition for Reconsideration of the AM revitalization FM translator filing window restrictions filed by station owner and engineer Ted Schober has been dismissed by the FCC. Schober had argued that the eligibility criterion for the June 2017 filing window—namely, “licensee or permittee whose AM station was listed as the primary station in the modification application filed during one of the 2016 modification windows is not eligible to apply during this filing window”—was, to quote Schober’s filing, “unfair to certain licensees who applied in the previous windows.” The Commission noted that in their view the rule was clear from the very beginning, and so Schober’s petition was a late-filed request for reconsideration.
