Radio station trading in 2018: not the lowest, but far from the highest.

According to the S&P Global Market Intelligence Kagan report of broadcast mergers and acquisitions for the fourth quarter of 2018, there was a total of $4.31 billion in total deals, driven mostly by the pending Nexstar-Tribune Media acquisition ($3.51 billion). Radios share was $198.7 million, composed mostly of Hubbard Radio’s purchase of Alpha Media’s West Palm Beach cluster.
