Radio rules for music.

According to a new study by Emarketer.com, radio is the number one way for Americans to get their music. Among all media and all devices, almost half of the time spent listening to music occurs on AM/FM radio, followed by the listener’s own collection, and then streaming platforms like Pandora and Spotify. The study validates an Edison research finding back in May of this year, in which 44% of all music time spent listening was to the radio. In terms of devices, over 40% of music listening time is to good old radio, 23% is on mobile devices, and 16% is on desktops and laptops.
