Radio is making money with digital.

A study from the Radio Advertising Bureau and Borrell Associates indicates that digital revenue generated by radio stations rose 13.4% last year to $700 million. The study goes on to say that 85% of radio advertisers are also buying some form of digital, with 75% of that group buying both radio and digital. Across the board, digital ad revenue now makes up 7.5% of a station’s ad revenues—up from 6.3% in 2016.
