RAB report: radio revenue up a point

The ongoing study, conducted for the RAB by Miller, Kaplan, shows that in first quarter and in fact in the first half of 2012, the radio industry grew its revenue by one percent in total, comprising spot, digital and off-air. It’s no surprise to anyone that digital continues to be our fastest-growing sector, albeit with a modest three percent uptick for the quarter and seven percent for the half.

It should also be no surprise that the early and active political season contributed significantly to our growth.
