Panel to deconstruct shooting coverage.

“Crisis on the Strip: Reporting in an Unfolding Emergency” will feature an assortment of public officials, academics, and broadcasters to examine the October 2017 Las Vegas shooting incident, including the challenges involved in getting accurate information to the public in the middle of breaking news. The panel is scheduled for Tuesday, April 10 at 1:30 p.m. during the NAB Show. FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr will begin the session with some introductory remarks.
