O’Rielly re-upped.

orielly-michaelMichael O’Rielly has been nominated by President Obama for a full term as FCC Commissioner. Originally he was appointed to serve out the remainder of former Commissioner Robert McDowell’s term, which actually ended June 30. The new nomination is for a full five years. FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler endorsed O’Rielly by saying, “Mike O’Rielly and I were confirmed together for his first short term, and I look forward to continuing to work with them in these new longer-term. Commissioner O’Rielly is deeply committed to the goal of improving the lives of the American people through communications technology, and his intellect and work ethic have made him a tremendous asset to the agency.”
