Nielsen boosts cell phone sample.

Nielsen put out a “client communication” last week boasting of “significant investments in the quality of our audio services,” most notably, a dramatic increase in cell phone sample amounting to 54% of total sample beginning with the fall 2016 survey. Other important changes include higher premiums for lower-respondent demographics, that are hiring and training practices in the call center, and more attention paid to the Audio Diary Service.
