NextRadio celebrates staggering increases.

Analysis of the 2015 numbers for the FM radio app shows dramatic growth in downloads, listening, viewing and interactions. Listeners are “looking” at NextRadio more frequently in 2015 versus 2014, which, the company says, is “a sign that behavior is changing and FM is moving from audio only to an audio plus visual experience for the listener.” According to a company press release, “Between the growing usage among those capable of experiencing NextRadio and the increasing demand from those who wish they could experience NextRadio, it is abundantly clear that consumers want, use and enjoy free FM radio on their smart phones.” The company notes that there are more than 70 million FM-capable devices projected to enter the market this year, which bodes well for even more explosive growth for NextRadio.
