NBC Sports Radio cuts back.

The network is shuttering most of its regular Sports Talk programming beginning the first of the year, supplanting it with two weekday shows and two weekend shows, along with frequent updates 24/7. What stays? The weekday morning show, “PFT [Pro Football Talk] Live with Mike Florio,” the weekend “Best of” version, and the “Safety Blitz with Rodney Harrison” weekend show. What’s new? A yet-unnamed afternoon show. What’s out? Everybody else, including Newy Scruggs, Mark Malone, Keith Irizarry, Dan Schwartzman, Dave Smith, and Scott Seidenberg.
