[Rebroadcast of a
significant recent local news or human interest story or tomorrow's
weather forecast ... any local content that's compelling] |

| UNDERNEATH: |
|
An ominous drone
(or maybe a heartbeat) starts softly, almost imperceptibly, and
gradually get louder. (Something is about to happen....) This runs
long enough to engage the listener ... 10 seconds or so ... then
ABRUPT SILENCE for 5 seconds. |

For years you and
I have taken for granted the fact that [STATION] will always be here
to bring you information that matters to you. But as I speak, the
FCC is considering new - and we believe entirely unnecessary - rule
changes that would be so costly to implement, they would likely
force radio stations in smaller markets, [STATION] included, to cut
back or shut down altogether.
I'm _______________. Would you join me in asking the FCC to stop
this nonsense?
We've posted a link at [WEB SITE] where you can add your comments
and be in and out in under three minutes.
We'd sure appreciate your help ... for both our sakes.
Thank you. |
