The luncheon is where CBS Radio President/CEO Dan Mason is being honored with this year’s National Radio Award. The NAB’s Executive VP of Radio John David says syndicated morning show host Joyner “is a driving force in radio, and he continues to have a profound impact on his listeners and on the important causes he champions.” Joyner’s radio show is syndicated by Reach Media, which he founded, along with BlackAmericaWeb.com and the Tom Joyner Foundation. The foundation has raised over $60 million for students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities. At the 2011 Radio Show in Chicago, Joyner hosted a super session with McDonald’s USA Chief Marketing Officer Neil Golden.
