Grammies Expose Generation Chasm

If your stations are not programming Urban or CHR or Alternative, chances are the big winners at the 55th annual Grammy Awards were largely unfamiliar to you: The Black Keys, Mumford & Sons, The Magnetic Zeros, Old Crow, Fun., Gotye, Skrillex, et. al. On the bright side, the night was not completely no country for old men, with reliable old-timers like Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Swift, and Carrie Underwood scoring some metal. There was even a Grammy nod to really old-timer Paul McCartney, who won Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.
