FCC open meeting disrupted.

reclassifyAt the FCC’s regular monthly open meeting last week, protesters interrupted the proceedings to urge the Commission to regulate Internet service providers under Title II of the Communications Act. During the action, some protesters slid behind the commissioners on the dais and displayed a “Reclassify Now” banner; Chairman Tom Wheeler displayed his sportsmanship by exclaiming, “This is what the country is all about.” President Obama has advocated the reclassification of ISPs under title II, which would treat broadband as a public utility, the ISPs as common carriers, which invoke a set of rules that ensure neutrality.
