FCC issues rulemaking notices regarding FM translator interference complaints.

As expected, at the May Open Meeting of the FCC, the agency issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking regarding the proposal to streamline the process to resolve FM translator interference complaints. For one thing, that would mean the translators could be moved within the non-reserved band as a minor change to alleviate interference. For another, any interference claim would require a minimum of six complaints.
