FCC cranks up the NOV machine.

A number of unlucky broadcasters are receiving Notices of Violation from the Commission for various offenses. Mount Olive Broadcasting Company, operator of WDJS/Mount Olive, NC, was nicked for failing to have a staff or managerial presence when FCC agents showed up for an inspection, and for operating from a different antenna than the one specified in its license. West Face Ventures, LLC, licensee of K2phase 3 A M/Austin, TX, got a notice for operating from authorized antenna location and operating at excess power and greater height than license. A number of pirates also fell under the FCC spell, including ones in West Orange, NJ; Orange, NJ; Mattapan, MA; Boston, MA; New Orleans, LA,;and Poughkeepsie, NY.
