Facebook issues “Book of No-No’s.”

It’s a 27-page book of guidelines that details content that is banned from the social medium. The company has about 7500 content moderators who monitor the site in real time and remove inappropriate material. The book contains the obvious – copyright and trademark infringement, sexual exploitation, so-called credible threats of violence, nude pictures of children, and most instances of uncovered female nipples. But there are a bunch of judgment calls as well, and the one that will gain the most attention is probably hate speech: not allowed, “unless you’re raising awareness about it.” Whatever that means.
